In this Lecture, Andrew (The lecturer) introduces the application of machine learning and how there are two types of learning. Supervised learning is where the labelled dataset is used, while in unsupervised learning machine has the freedom to give any special relationships or anything that is not thought of. He explains the difference between the two types of learning using examples of malignant tumours and features that play a role in determining the type. He then goes on about some machine learning applications, such as Autonomous driving cars, chess, news recommendation and a lot more.
